Photovoltaic system details
The photovoltaic greenhouse, located in the municipality of Sant'Elpidio a Mare (FM), is permanently dedicated to agricultural horticultural cultivation, while the photovoltaic modules for the production of electricity constitute the construction elements of the roof.
The greenhouse has a double pitch, one facing south with a roof of fully integrated photovoltaic panels and one facing north with a roof of double inflated film, a structure composed of rectangular tubular profiles immersed in reinforced concrete plinths for anchoring to the ground and metal trusses. The double inflated film at the ridge provides greater insulation and thermal K, qualifying the greenhouse for high heat retention with protection of crops from frost and low temperatures.
Motorised openings, controlled by independent control units, govern the ridge windows and curtain walls according to environmental parameters.
The greenhouse has an occupied area of 52,650 square metres and is located at an altitude of 250 metres above sea level.
