As a Benefit Corporation, we are committed to creating shared value for the communities and regions we operate in, through initiatives that promote social inclusion and combat educational and energy poverty. We fully align with the values promoted by the Fondazione Banco dell'energia Ente Filantropico and their mission to ensure inclusive and sustainable access to energy for socially and economically vulnerable families. The signing of the manifesto ‘Insieme per contrastare la povertà energetica’ (Together to combat energy poverty) and our membership on the Board of Directors of the Fondazione Banco underscore our commitment in this area.
The initiatives that we support together with Banco dell'energia focus primarily on these areas:
These projects aim to support socially and economically vulnerable families and individuals, as well as third-sector organisations nationwide. Specifically, support actions include financial aid for paying energy bills from any provider, replacing light bulbs and old appliances with new high-efficiency ones, and training Domestic Energy Tutors (TED) to help beneficiaries reduce future costs through energy awareness and savings.
ESRB's aim to encourage renewable energy production, ensure equitable energy access, and stimulate social cohesion across the country by educating on urban sustainability. Beneficiaries include associations, third sector organisations and socially and economically vulnerable families. In collaboration with various associations, we've launched numerous projects, including: CER posto anche per te, Energia è partecipazione, La Cittadella Energetica, Certamente Insieme, and Comunità Energetica e Solidale Casa del Fanciullo.

Here are the projects we support under “Economic support and energy efficiency”:
This project, in collaboration with the Italian Red Cross (CRI), aims to support over 750 socially and economically vulnerable families in purchasing new generation appliances, providing dedicated support for transport, installation and the collection of old appliances. The initiative operates in 10 Italian municipalities (Benevento, Brescia, Cagliari, Caltanissetta, Civitavecchia, Giaveno, Giulianova, Lecce, Ronciglione-Sutri and Sesto San Giovanni) and involves 40 CRI volunteers trained to guide beneficiaries through energy saving education courses.
Over 200 families are involved in the project, in collaboration with the Ernesto Pellegrini Foundation and the Giambellino Lorenteggio Community Fund (MI) which provides:
through the payment of bills and the purchase of energy-efficient appliances and light bulbs.
in energy saving and efficiency, certifying them as Domestic Energy Tutors.
through meetings with the inhabitants of the Giambellino Lorenteggio district.
with a dedicated speech at the headquarters of the Neighbourhood Laboratory.
"Energy in the Suburbs" aims to support 200 families experiencing energy poverty residing in the peripheral areas of Naples and Turin. In collaboration with Società San Vincenzo De Paoli, the project includes paying energy bills from any provider, initiating energy-saving education courses with DET - Domestic Energy Tutors, and implementing energy efficiency measures by replacing energy-consuming appliances with high-efficiency ones, reducing future costs.
In collaboration with Società San Vincenzo De Paoli, we support the "Conscious Energy" project in the municipalities of Como, Appiano Gentile and Morbegno, involving around 240 families. In particular, the initiative is aimed at:
