The technologies we’re investing in for the future of renewables
The renewable energy we produce, primarily from wind and solar power, comes from dedicated plants that we either own or manage, providing both technological and geographic diversification.

We have installed and will continue to install our wind farms on land and at sea to make the most of wind energy.

Our international expansion
Since 2015, we have been active in the renewable energy sector, now managing over 150 Utility Scale1 plants worldwide. We began in Italy and Kazakhstan, and then, through a series of acquisitions and corporate reorganisations, we expanded our operations to several countries including France, Greece, Spain, Portugal, the UK, Norway, the US and Australia.

Below, we highlight some of our most important projects and partnerships.
Photovoltaic in Sardinia – Porto Torres and Assemini
Plenitude is present in Sardinia with 8 photovoltaic plants, the main ones being the 23 MW plant in Assemini (Cagliari), completed in 2018, and the 31 MW plant in Porto Torres (Sassari), inaugurated at the beginning of 2020.
Wind Farm – Borgia
In July 2024, the company completed the construction of a new 39 MW onshore wind farm, consisting of nine next-generation wind turbines, in the municipality of Borgia (Catanzaro), Calabria.
El Monte – Spain
In 2022, we inaugurated the 104.5 MW El Monte wind farm in the Castile-La Mancha region. The plant, one of the largest installed in the country, will produce around 300 GWh per year.
Dogger Bank Wind Farm – United Kingdom
We have invested in expanding Vårgrønn’s activities, the joint venture between Plenitude (a subsidiary of Eni) and HitecVision, to consolidate its presence as one of the most important players. We have thus joined the Dogger Bank Wind Farm project, the largest offshore wind farm in the world (3.6 GW at 100%), which will be completed in phases by 2026.
Shaulder Photovoltaic Park – Kazakhstan
In 2023, we expanded our presence in the country by building the first photovoltaic park in the Republic of Kazakhstan, with an installed capacity of 50 MW, producing around 90 GWh of energy per year.
Corazon – United States
The “Corazon” photovoltaic plant, located in Webb County in southwest Texas, is one of our most significant projects in the US, with around 266 MW of installed capacity.
