A simple, immediate, everyday energy: just like a song that instantly gets stuck in your head. For the 75th Sanremo Festival, Eni together with Enilive and Plenitude chose to tell the story of people’s energy, starting from the sounds of daily life and a history spanning over seventy years. The slogan "From different energies, one unique energy”, the leitmotif of the festival's institutional ads, perfectly encapsulates this journey.

At the heart of the narrative is “Energia Unica”, an original and unpublished song born from a journey across Italy undertaken with sound designer and composer Chiara Luzzana. Not studio-created sounds, but authentic voices captured in real-time: the gurgling of a moka pot, a ball bouncing between houses, the wind moving wind turbine blades. A sonic mosaic reflecting the diversity of energy sources, which finds its perfect audience in Sanremo. Released through an immersive music video, “Energia Unica” is the sound manifesto of truly shared energy, amplified through social media. Exclusive digital content, created specifically by influencers like PanPers, Valentina Barbieri, and Thomas Basilico, made the experience even more engaging. Through interactive story segments like "Feel the Energy" and "Sound Hunt”, they invited the digital community to discover the energy hidden in everyday sounds – from a stove burner to a radio – and with hilarious sketches like "Vista Eni Carpet”, they brought Sanremo’s unique atmosphere to the web.
But Energia Unica is more than just a song in a single track. It lives and evolves during the Festival, powered by the sounds of the audience, who become protagonists. The Eni Carpet is the scenic embodiment of this idea: not just a red carpet, but an interactive installation that transforms voices into a spectacle. Under the luminous arches at the Ariston entrance, artists and spectators are invited to energize the space with their voices. Invisible microphones capture words, sounds, and intonations, converting them into light displays and original melodies, making the slogan "From different energies, one unique energy" tangible and audible. Sanremo becomes an expanded stage, with the Eni Carpet accompanied by another interactive installation at Pian di Nave, a true sound hub where everyone can contribute to composing a collective symphony.
To spread the festival’s energy throughout the region, Plenitude organized a series of original events in its stores. The Sanremo store transformed into “Casa Plenitude”, featuring interactive challenges between customers and content creators such as Christian Paparini, Ginevra Panci, Coinqui Croccanti, Emma Galeotti, and Gabriele Vagnato, hosted by Matteo Varini. In Bergamo and Trieste, audiences applauded live performances by Federica Abbate and The Pozzolis. To engage both loyal and new customers, Plenitude also introduced initiatives and benefits in line with the campaign’s musical theme.
But in the end, what does energy sound like? Sanremo 2025 leaves behind more than just a presence: it leaves behind the echo of music capable of weaving together different energies into a single harmony. Like a Sanremo chorus, ready to be whistled in a bustling square or against the backdrop of a steaming moka pot.
