Fagatello Mini Wind Power 1-2

The Ministerial Decree of 6/7/2011 (RES Decree) issued by the MSE updated the incentive system provided for plants powered by innovative sources. It introduced the mechanism of direct access for wind power plants with power up to 60 kW, and registration in special registers for wind power plants with power up to 5 MW.

Within this regulatory framework, Enerkall Srl and PLT Engineering Srl have initiated new investments in the mini-wind power sector that have resulted in the construction of No. 6 single-tower wind power plants with a unit power of 60 kW.

The plants come to be located in the province of Catanzaro and specifically:

• in the countryside of Cortale (N°1 Jonica Impianti wind turbine mod. JIMP60 + N°1 Ergowind wind turbine mod. KGE55KT1 + N°2 ESPE wind turbines mod. FX21)

• in the countryside of Centrache (No. 2 ESPE wind turbines mod. FX21).

Areas with high windiness and the producibility of said plants is in the range of 1500-2500 hours eq., while the connection to the grid is made in low voltage.

Construction and maintenance of the plants is carried out by PLT Engineering by means of special EPC and O&M contracts. Make and model of the wind turbines are selected from time to time according to the characteristics of the site, turning to qualified suppliers, both Italian and foreign, capable of ensuring the best technologies in terms of performance and reliability.
