Tursi e Colobraro Wind Power

The wind farm for the production of electricity called ‘Parco Eolico di Tursi e Colobraro’ is located in the municipalities of Tursi and Colobraro.

The area covered by the plant lies to the west of the municipality of Tursi and to the north of the municipality of Colobraro, at an average altitude of 600 m above sea level.

The system consists of 30 SENVION MM100 wind turbines with a hub height of 100 m and a rotor diameter of 100 m, giving the park a total nominal capacity of 60 MW.

The plant is connected via a HV connection to the electrical substation, in the immediate vicinity of which is a new 150 kV RTN station, named Tursi. The substation is connected to the new National Transmission Grid station by means of a high-voltage cable connection, which, in turn, is input-output on the 150 kV ‘Pisticci-Senise’ line.
