Imola Green 2025: discover electric mobility with Plenitude

30 May 2025

From Friday, May 30 to Sunday, June 1, the Enzo and Dino Ferrari International Racetrack will once again host Imola Green, one of Italy’s most important free events dedicated to sustainable mobility. Now in its fourth edition, the 2024 event attracted over 35,000 visitors, confirming the town of Imola as a key hub for innovation and discussion on green mobility.
This year, Plenitude returns as energy partner of Imola Green with an engaging and informative experience designed to tell the story of electric mobility in a fun and interactive way. Outside the paddock, visitors will find four EV charging stations—each with two bays—available for use during the electric vehicle test drives.

Plenitude’s Paddock Experience

Plenitude’s colourful, futuristic installation will take place in boxes 9, 10, and 11 of the racetrack paddock. Here, visitors—whether curious newcomers or experienced e-drivers—can explore the benefits of electric mobility through a playful and immersive journey.

Back by popular demand, this year’s experience blends retro gaming aesthetics with a future-forward vision. The goal? To guide visitors through the world of electric mobility, starting with the basics—like how charging works—and ending with a hands-on EV driving experience. Participants will symbolically earn their “eDriver license” along the way.

As with any video game-inspired adventure, the experience unfolds in three levels.

Level One: “Welcome to the Electric City” introduces electric mobility through a nostalgic toy car racetrack and arcade-style cabinets. Kids and grown-ups alike can go head-to-head in retro-inspired games like Explore Italy and Catch the Light.

Level Two shifts to virtual reality: EV driving simulators replicate the thrill of the Imola F1 circuit, while users can explore Plenitude’s own metaverse—Futura—and its dedicated eMobility island.

By this point, you’ll be itching to get behind the wheel—and Level Three is where things really get exciting.

Wheels on the Ground: real-life electric driving

The final stage, Energy in Real Life, brings theory into action with Plenitude’s Electric Driving Experience—a test drive format launched last year. Visitors can drive an electric vehicle both on the racetrack and on surrounding roads, or hop in as a passenger with a professional driver, who will share tips and tricks for mastering EV driving.

Speaking of test drives, you’ll also have the chance to try Genny Zero, the self-balancing vehicle by Swiss company Genny Mobility. Designed with inclusivity and ease of use in mind, Genny Zero is 100% electric and already a crowd favourite from last year’s Imola Green. For the 2025 edition, it returns sporting Plenitude’s signature colours.

Visitors can test Genny Zero’s stability and responsiveness on a special course featuring ramps, slopes, and small obstacles—ideal for appreciating just how intuitive and fun this vehicle really is.
