15 minutes: a coffee with everyone at Plenitude

The company in the words of those who experience it every day: five short encounters to foster a sense of belonging to a common project.

In the 2017 Super Bowl, the final fifteen minutes were enough for the New England Patriots to make a historic comeback. In a similar space of time, you could complete an origami model or take a revitalising “Power Nap”. In our working life, we often spend about a quarter of an hour having coffee and chatting with colleagues, holding a quick alignment call with the team, or perhaps coming up with a brilliant and decisive idea. These examples show that the value of time extends far beyond a simple numerical measurement.

in 15 minutes” is also the name chosen for the new format that debuted last September to inform and involve Plenitude people about key objectives and results. In this way, fifteen minutes becomes just the right amount of time to bring everyone together, boost engagement and work together towards achieving the company’s strategic goals.

“#in15minutes Plenitude News”: open dialogue on OKRs

OKRs, short for Objectives and Key Results, are a management methodology that encourages a mindset of continuous improvement, striving for excellence and adaptability to change. They provide strategic and measurable guidelines, create a transparent, transformation-oriented work environment, encourage the pursuit of better performance and processes, and foster innovation and professional growth. This process is supported by regular reviews that increase transparency and help people adapt to change. In the “#in15minutes Plenitude News” format, each session focuses on one of Plenitude’s 2023 OKRs, where speakers share case studies to illustrate how Key Results bring various company projects to life.

Five sessions were held, each focusing on Plenitude’s 2023 OKRs: integrating business areas to maximise the value of renewable energy, retail and mobility; the energy transition, both in terms of reducing emissions and renewable energy production; technology and innovation starting from data analysis; building a flexible and resilient business; creating the best possible working environment. During the first edition of this format, over 35 speakers shared successful projects and results, using clear and simple language, while minimising or avoiding technical jargon.

Stories from Plenitude people

The geographical origins, backgrounds and areas of interest varied, but the goal was always shared and built through the work of each individual.
Across all meetings, two key themes emerged: integration and innovation. Two terms that not only unified the projects presented but also perfectly describe the format itself, which attracted around a thousand participants from all Plenitude locations for each session. Innovation through the chosen broadcasting channel: a live stream shared on Workplace. Inclusion for ease of access: translation and the choice of a convenient time (14:30) for different time zones.
Information sharing, audience involvement and the satisfaction of the speakers are the top three indicators of the success of these “15 minutes.” Three good reasons to meet again in September, just “in time for a coffee”.
