The photovoltaic greenhouse, located in the municipality of Eboli (SA), is permanently dedicated to horticultural agricultural crops, while photovoltaic modules for electricity production form the construction elements of the roof.
The greenhouse has a double pitch, a south-facing one with a roof of fully integrated photovoltaic panels and a north-facing one with a mesh roof. The greenhouse structures are made of metal, anchored to the ground with a height at the eaves of 3 m and with removable seasonal closures.
The greenhouse has an occupied area of 14,500 square meters and is located at an elevation of 31 meters above sea level.
The agricultural activity consists of growing vegetable crops such as arugula, melon, fennel, cauliflower, typical productions of the Sele plain district.
