With the contest "Missione Buddies!" and an experiential hub, Plenitude’s virtual planet engages new generations on the themes of energy awareness.
The convergence between digital worlds and physical spaces represents one of the most dynamic frontiers of contemporary communication. In this scenario, the metaverse is emerging not only as a playful environment, but also as a true narrative territory where companies can interact with audiences in an immersive and value-driven way. Fully embracing this evolution, Plenitude brings its virtual ecosystem Futura to the wider public at exceptional events. The next stop is Romics, one of Italy’s most important pop culture events, taking place from October 2 to 5 at the Fiera di Roma.
The four-day festival will become the crossroads where the narrative of energy awareness, at the heart of the Futura project, meets the creativity and passion of visitors. Attendees will have the chance to interact with some of Italy’s most followed gaming creators, experience the metaverse firsthand, and take part in a brand-new creative mission: the "Missione Buddies!" contest.
The beating heart of Plenitude’s presence at Romics will be the PlayBlox stand, designed as an experiential hub capable of translating the principles of the Futura metaverse into concrete activities. Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the project’s retro-futuristic atmospheres through a Gaming Area equipped with interactive arcade cabinets, always open to anyone who wants to explore the already active virtual continents.
Bridging the gap between the community and the gaming world will be three of Italy’s most popular gaming creators: Roby (RobyPolarbear_), Jenny (Jennifer Puddu), and LorenzIST. Every afternoon, the three YouTubers will host Meet & Greet sessions, offering fans a unique opportunity to meet them in person.
At Romics there will also be the chance to take part in the "Missione Buddies!" contest, a co-creation challenge launched last July. The initiative invites participants to design original “Energy Buddies”: robots, created with any artistic technique, whose goal is to collect energy and distribute it to the community of Futura Ville. Anyone who submits their drawing directly at the stand will receive an exclusive collectible card pack. At the end of the contest, on November 16, the top three projects will be officially integrated into the game world, transforming a creative idea into a permanent element of the virtual experience.
The contest is part of the broader journey of Futura, the virtual ecosystem developed by Plenitude to communicate complex topics such as energy awareness through a universal and engaging language. The ecosystem is structured into five continents, each hosted on a different platform to reach diverse audiences and interests. The latest addition, Futura Quest, built on the Rec Room platform, joins the continents already active on Spatial (Futura HUB), Roblox (Futura Ville), and Fortnite (Futura Tracks), while the next launch will be Futura Blocks, a creative canvas where players will be called upon to build a society based on virtuous energy models. This edutainment approach has proven successful in terms of engagement, as shown by the numbers: for example, Futura Ville on Roblox has recorded nearly 270,000 visits from over 170,000 unique users.
Within this journey, participating in Romics represents a significant milestone in the dialogue Plenitude aims to build with its community. The initiative connects imagination—an essential element of the festival—inviting visitors not to be mere spectators, but “explorers of change.” In real life and on Futura.
